Experienced instructional designer with a proven track record of creating engaging and effective training programs for diverse audiences.
Skilled in content development, e-learning platforms, and collaborative team leadership. Looking for new opportunities to apply my expertise in instructional design and training development.
I quickly ramped up and became a power user of Pendo and Camtasia, developing an implementation plan for onboarding training within Pendo. I built strong relationships with SMEs through cross-department projects and managed the entire Visual Lease University platform, including WordPress, video creation, and planning. I also developed curriculum for external clients using the Docebo LMS, honing my audio/video editing skills with Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Audition. Additionally, I contributed to the strategic plan for education and the utilization of current tools, revised creation guidelines to incorporate various learning methods, and planned and implemented the annual strategic plan for content and learning based on feedback and engagement. My work also involved extensive cross-department collaboration on projects with SMEs.
I oversaw major projects and initiatives, ensuring the delivery of assets within predetermined timeframes and facilitating the quick onboarding of new hires. I worked on 3, 6, and 12-month strategic plans for client education and developed new standard operating procedures for the instructional design department. I maintained the LMS, partnering with large clients and other departments for new user onboarding, while continuing to create content, including SCORM, WalkMe, Wiki markup, explainer videos, voiceovers, and more. Additionally, I mentored and coached existing employees to help them become more efficient in their roles.
I developed and implemented best practices for content design within the company and successfully launched Dealertrack RTS's first Learning Management System (Docebo). By partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), I authored multiple e-learning courses for the new LMS using Adobe Captivate. I quickly established standard operating procedures to align with company standards and facilitate the rapid deployment of assets. In addition, I became proficient in Captivate, MadCap Flare, WalkMe, Reaper DAW (for voiceover work), and the Adobe Suite. I fostered partnerships across various departments with SMEs to ensure successful content development and helped revise training requirements, which resulted in significant savings in time, money, and resources.
I implemented and trained title clerks on registration software purchased through the company and conducted software conversions when needed. Acting as the "face" of the company, I provided client support through field calls and implemented internal changes to improve organizational efficiency. I trained all staff on every application used by the corporation, utilizing various tools to make training more engaging. Additionally, I implemented features to enhance learning and provided technical expertise and training.
I successfully implemented curriculum for various levels of students, continually revising and updating each class to incorporate 21st-century skills and Web 2.0 lessons. I effectively managed a large group of teachers in Moodle and Blackboard, acting as a mentor and ensuring that NC teaching guidelines were being met. Additionally, I conducted spot checks for each teacher to verify that policies and protocols were adhered to within the virtual classroom.
