For over a decade I've built curriculum on complex software for professional audiences, much of it in regulated industries where accuracy carries real consequences, across K–12, higher education, and enterprise SaaS. I've spent more than eight years leading design teams, founded a content development department from zero, served as the final quality authority for everything leaving a department, and owned six-figure vendor and technology decisions.
What drives me is a genuine passion for helping people grow. Effective learning design, at its core, is about improving someone's quality of life: making hard things clear, and giving people the confidence to do their work well.
Today, I’m part of the team at Juniper Square driving AI-enabled change through customer education. My part has included contributing to the evaluation of an AI video platform, building and testing AI production tools the team now shares, and building the project tracker that is now the team's working system of record. I also wrote a book on AI's practical role in learning and development, You Are the Bottleneck. The goal isn't novelty. It's building better content, faster, without losing the rigor that makes training worth taking.
I'm at my best establishing governance, workflows, standards, and tooling where a learning function doesn't yet exist.
I work as a performance consultant, not an order taker, using product usage and support data to find the real problem before designing against it.
I've served as the final QC authority for everything leaving a department, leading cross-functional designers and technical writers.
